Central Vineyard is one church seeking to establish multiple communities in locations all over Northamptonshire, which together share one mission and vision.
Let us know you're coming this Sunday!
WHAT TO EXPECT
We have two Services on Sunday mornings. The first Service starts at 9.30am and the second Service starts at 11.15am. The Services are the same, apart from the start times and they last about 75 minutes. Refreshment are available from 9am at the first service and our café then opens at 10.45am where we serve fresh coffee, a selection of teas and refreshments along with doughnuts and other delicious snacks. this is a chance for those attending either service to 'meet in the middle!'
Both our services starts with a time of worship, which lasts for about 25 minutes. Feel free to stand, sing and join in with our worship or you are welcome to sit, relax and enjoy the atmosphere, then after worship, the children and youth will go to their groups. We also have a very short break, during which bowls of chocolates are passed round and our offering is taken. This is followed by a few announcements and a chance to hear some news from the life of the church. After this, someone will give a bible-related talk, which is often followed by an opportunity to respond and receive prayer if they would like to.
After the service, please don't feel like you need to rush off, make your way over to the Information Area, where you can chat to some of our team. Ask any questions you might have and discover other helpful information.
During the 9.30am service our Kids Programme covers 3's to 4's (Mini Grapes) and 5's to 11's (CLUB:V). At our 11.15am service we cater for 5's to 11's only, but at both services there is a space for parents and children can go to (if desired), which has a live audio link to the service.
Our Youth Programme runs at both services.
We believe that children are a vital part of our church and therefore we want them to be actively involved in worship, reading the Bible, prayer, ministry, serving, giving and sharing God’s heart for the poor and those that don’t yet know Jesus.
Vineyard Kids is a fun, safe, engaging space for children to hear about God and experience his love in an age appropriate way. We have specially trained, DBS checked volunteer teams who have a real heart for children and families - look out for our Vineyard Kids team in blue t-shirts! We want your child to be comfortable in their group - if you are visiting or have come with friends or siblings, you can choose for them to be in the same group.
BABIES, TODDLERS & PRE-SCHOOLERS
For those with young babies and toddlers, we have a space where parents and carers can be with their children, where they can relax, grab a drink, chat and listen to the service via the audio link. This is also our dedicated area for those who wish to feed their babies in a more private area.
Pre-school (3's to 4's) - 9.30am Service Only.
Children aged three to four years can enjoy a room full of toys, games and activities, with an engaging programme which includes, craft, stories and creative play all based around God's Big Story.
Reception to Year 6 (5's - 11's) - 9.30am & 11.15am Service.
We want CLUB:V to be somewhere that all our children can belong, so we do our best to find ways for all our children to engage in God's Big Story, in different creative ways. When the children enter CLUB:V they can choose to engage with a number of different zones based around; prayer, personal identity, the world around them and questions they may have.
The Youth meets together each Sunday at both services and are led by our wonderful youth team. Each week we get together to hangout, prayer, look at the Bible and learn more about Jesus. We are serious about having lots of fun, but we are also serious about passionately following Jesus.
FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH SERVICE
We are excited by all that is going on with our youth and once a month there is an opportunity for all our youth to gather together at Sheep Street, to worship, hear relevant teaching and encounter the Holy Spirit in a way that is accessible to them.
PARKING & PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Being located in the centre of Northampton means there are lots of options for parking. The best option for Sunday mornings is the Mayorhold Multi Storey Car Park which you can enter off Lady's Lane. All council owned carparks are free of charge on Sundays.
If you park on the second floor the Mayorhold, the pedestrian exit takes you directly onto Sheep Street, turn left and cross over the pedestrian lights, you will then see our main entrance on your right.
We are also a 1 minute walk from the North Gate Bus Station.
