Our compassion charity Re:store Northampton takes the lead to win Big Lottery funding and will be awarded £497,000 over the next five years to expand services.
We are delighted to share with share the news that Re:store Northampton has successfully secured a Five Year grant from The Big Lottery's Help Through Crisis fund. The grant is a partnership Citizens Advice Central and East Northamptonshire, Northamptonshire Community Foundation and Springs Family Centre, with Restore Northampton as the lead agency.
Collectively we will be expanding current services and developing new services to support local people who are experiencing food poverty. This will include Re:store HUB (drop in) with a free hot meal, in-house specialist advice and advocacy sessions, life-skills groups, a beneficiary forum, cookery and a jobs club. This will help fulfil the hope of offering a ‘hand-up’ rather than just a ‘hand-out’.
This a great boost for the team and will really helps shape what Re:store Northampton will look like over the next five years.
