Practising the Way.
Scripture.
“Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”
Luke 24:32
The Bible
The library we call “the Bible” can connect us to God and change who we are, but distraction, hurry, and confusion can hinder our experience with these ancient texts. Rediscover how to engage Scripture as an apprentice to Jesus.
How does it work?
Each session includes a short video, group discussion, and a weekly exercise to try at home. You’ll gather in community, share reflections, and explore what it means to read Scripture with both your mind and your heart.
The Practice runs across four sessions:
Read – Meeting Jesus on the page
Meditate – Listening for God’s voice
Study – Understanding what Scripture means
Memorize – Carrying God’s Word within you
Shaped by Scripture
Jesus’ imagination was shaped by Scripture. His words, prayers, and actions flowed from it. As followers of Jesus, we want the same—lives rooted in truth, formed by love, and guided by His voice.
This Practice helps us slow down, simplify, and build rhythms that draw us closer to Him.
